Overview
TransLink Corporate Headquarters Overview
The TransLink Head Office is located in the Brewery District of New Westminster at 287 Nelson’s Court. As the statutory authority responsible for the regional transportation network of Metro Vancouver, formally known as the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority, this office serves as the central command for strategic planning, finance, and administration. It shares the location with the headquarters of its subsidiary, the Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC). While this facility is the administrative heart of the organization, it is primarily a corporate workspace rather than a customer service centre.
Key Functions and Departments
The Head Office houses executive leadership and key departments that manage the region’s integrated transit system. Functions based here include:
- Transportation Planning: Developing long-term transit strategies and network expansions.
- Finance and Procurement: Managing the authority’s budget, parking tax administration, and supplier contracts.
- Public Affairs: Handling media relations, government relations, and community engagement initiatives.
- Human Resources: Recruiting and managing the workforce for TransLink and its operating companies.
Public Access and Services
It is important for the public to note that Compass Card services, fare dispute resolution, and lost property inquiries are not handled at this location. The public Customer Service Centre is located at Waterfront Station in Vancouver. However, the Head Office does accept specific administrative deliveries and visitors attending scheduled meetings or board-related functions. The Parking Tax department is also based here, though most interactions are encouraged via phone or email. The building is designed to LEED Gold standards and is easily accessible via the nearby Sapperton SkyTrain Station.
