Our Website provides various automated LegalTech tools, including but not limited to Judgment Interest, Limitation & Deadlines, Severance Pay, Probate Tax, Personal Injury Apportionment, and Bill of Costs calculators.

lawyerinfo.ca offers premium SaaS (Software as a Service) subscriptions that allow legal professionals to generate PDF reports without our default watermarks, utilizing their own law firm’s branding, logos, and custom disclaimers (“White-Label Features”).

4. User Content & Licensing

When you create a profile, upload photos, post questions, or submit any content (“User Content”) to the Website, you retain ownership of your intellectual property. However, you grant lawyerinfo.ca a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the operation of the Website.

Waiver of Moral Rights: To the extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, you waive any moral rights you may have in such User Content.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to share the User Content.
• Your content does not violate the rights of any third party.

B. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, interpretation, validity, breach, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc.

The place of the arbitration shall be Winnipeg, Manitoba. The language of the arbitration shall be English.

C. Jurisdiction

If for any reason a dispute proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you and lawyerinfo.ca irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Court of King’s Bench located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

D. Class Action Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDING TO RESOLVE OR LITIGATE ANY DISPUTE WILL BE CONDUCTED SOLELY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
