1. Reporting Copyright Infringement (The “Notice”)

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized on behalf of one, and you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit your claim via the form below or email our Designated Agent.

Under Canadian law (Section 41.25 of the Copyright Act), a valid notice of claimed infringement must be in writing and contain the following:

  • Claimant’s Info: The name and address of the person claiming that the copyright has been infringed.
  • Identify the Work: A description of the copyrighted work that is alleged to have been infringed.
  • Claimant’s Interest: A statement that the claimant is the owner of the copyright or is authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Location Data: The electronic location data (exact URL) to which the claimed infringement relates.
  • Date & Time: The date and time of the commission of the alleged infringement (optional but recommended).

Note: Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the infringing material and may forward the notice to the alleged infringer as required by law.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to us. We will evaluate your claim and may reinstate the content if it is determined that no infringement occurred.
