Opened in 2013, this 47,000-square-foot building serves as a critical support hub for police operations across the region. 9-1-1 Communications

A core function of the OTC is housing the 9-1-1 Communications Centre. This secure unit receives all emergency calls for Durham Region and dispatches officers to incidents. The centralization of dispatch services here ensures rapid coordination and response for the entire service area.

Police Education and Training

The facility is the primary venue for the continuous training of sworn officers and civilian staff. Features include:
