Overview
Community Policing Station
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) Northeast Division station serves the communities of northeast Edmonton, providing a local point of contact for non-emergency police services. This facility houses patrol units and investigative teams dedicated to maintaining public safety and reducing crime in the district. It is a key hub for community engagement and reporting.
Station Services
- Crime Reporting: Residents can visit the front counter to report non-emergency crimes such as theft, mischief, and fraud (under $5,000) where there are no suspects.
- General Inquiries: The front desk handles questions regarding bylaw enforcement, police procedures, and community resources.
- Safe Exchange: The area can serve as a neutral location for child custody exchanges or online purchase meetups (checking in at the desk is recommended).
Important Reporting Info
Please note that vehicle collisions must be reported at a dedicated Collision Reporting Centre, not at this station. For emergencies or crimes in progress, citizens should always call 9-1-1. This station does not process police information checks (criminal record checks) on-site; these must be applied for online or at the Police Information Check Section downtown.
