Overview
Centre communautaire juridique de la Rive-Sud (CCJRS)
Mission and Access to Justice
The Centre communautaire juridique de la Rive-Sud (CCJRS) oversees the delivery of legal aid services across the Montérégie region. Established under the Legal Aid Act, its primary mandate is to ensure that financially eligible citizens have access to legal representation and advice, regardless of their ability to pay. This location on Boulevard Roland-Therrien serves as both the administrative headquarters and a service point for civil law matters. It plays a crucial role in the justice system by providing lawyers for cases involving family law, civil disputes, administrative law, and youth protection, ensuring that the rights of vulnerable populations are upheld.

- Legal Representation: Staff lawyers represent eligible clients before various courts and tribunals in matters such as divorce, custody, housing disputes, and social aid appeals.
