Overview
St. Clair Public Works Depot
Water and Wastewater Services
The St. Clair Public Works Depot is a key operational facility for the City of Greater Sudbury, specifically serving the Water and Wastewater Services division. Located at 733 St. Clair Street, this site functions primarily as a base for municipal infrastructure maintenance, including the repair and monitoring of water mains, sewers, and linear infrastructure. Additionally, this location serves as a Bulk Water Filling Station, allowing residents and commercial users with pre-paid accounts to access municipally treated drinking water.
- Bulk Water Station: A designated filling point for users with valid bulk water cards (accounts must be set up at the Frobisher Depot).
- Infrastructure Maintenance: operational hub for crews responding to water main breaks, sewer backups, and other emergency repairs.
- Linear Infrastructure: Maintenance of city-owned pipes and drainage systems to ensure environmental safety and service reliability.
- Emergency Dispatch: While this facility is an operational yard, all inquiries and emergency reports (24/7) are managed through the city’s 311 service.
Please note: Administrative services such as bill payments or account setup are typically handled at the Frobisher Water/Wastewater Administration Building or Tom Davies Square, not at this depot. 🚛🚰🚧
