- Records and Information: The Emil V. Kolb Centre serves as the administrative heart of the Peel Regional Police. It is the primary location for processing criminal record checks, police information checks, and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for residents of Brampton and Mississauga.
- Investigative Bureaus: This facility houses specialized central units that support divisional operations, including Homicide, Fraud, and Special Victims units. While these bureaus operate region-wide, their command structure is centralized here to coordinate major investigations.
- Reporting and Inquiries: The headquarters features a public lobby for general inquiries and non-emergency reporting. Citizens can report minor crimes, traffic complaints, or turn in found property, ensuring a centralized point of contact for community needs.

- Regional Jurisdiction: As the third-largest municipal police service in Canada, Peel Regional Police serves a diverse population of over 1.4 million people. The headquarters coordinates policing efforts across Brampton and Mississauga, as well as the Pearson International Airport.
